pretreatment covariates is a crucial step in modern empirical
work in data science. Building on the recent developments in
Calonico et al (2025) <doi:10.48550/arXiv.2503.13696>, this
package provides tools for estimation and inference of
heterogeneous treatment effects in Regression Discontinuity
(RD) Designs. The package includes two main commands: 'rdhte'
to conduct estimation and robust bias-corrected inference for
conditional RD treatment effects (given choice of bandwidth
parameter); 'rdbwhte', which implements automatic bandwidth
selection methods; and 'rdhte_lincom' to test linear
combinations of parameters.

<r:package>rdhte</r:package><r:version>0.2.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://scalonico.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/cran/rdhte</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>rdhte-illustration.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>rdhte-illustration.html</r:filename><r:title>rdhte: Empirical Illustration</r:title><r:created>2026-05-26 19:31:39</r:created><r:modified>2026-05-26 19:31:39</r:modified></r:article>

[scalonico] nprobust 1.0.0

Estimation, inference, bandwidth selection, and graphical
procedures for kernel density and local polynomial regression
methods, including robust bias-corrected confidence intervals
as described in Calonico, Cattaneo and Farrell (2018,
<doi:10.1080/01621459.2017.1285776>). The package includes
'lprobust()' for local polynomial point estimation and robust
bias-corrected inference, 'lpbwselect()' for local polynomial
bandwidth selection, 'kdrobust()' for kernel density point
estimation and robust bias-corrected inference, 'kdbwselect()'
for kernel density bandwidth selection, and 'nprobust.plot()'
for plotting results. The main methodological and numerical
features are described in Calonico, Cattaneo and Farrell (2019,
<doi:10.18637/jss.v091.i08>).

<r:package>nprobust</r:package><r:version>1.0.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://scalonico.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/cran/nprobust</r:upstream>

[scalonico] rdrobust 4.0.0

Regression-discontinuity (RD) designs are
quasi-experimental research designs popular in social,
behavioral and natural sciences. The RD design is usually
employed to study the (local) causal effect of a treatment,
intervention or policy. This package provides tools for
data-driven graphical and analytical statistical inference in
RD designs: rdrobust() to construct local-polynomial point
estimators and robust confidence intervals for average
treatment effects at the cutoff in Sharp, Fuzzy and Kink RD
settings, rdbwselect() to perform bandwidth selection for the
different procedures implemented, and rdplot() to conduct
exploratory data analysis (RD plots).

<r:package>rdrobust</r:package><r:version>4.0.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://scalonico.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/cran/rdrobust</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>rdrobust-new-features.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>rdrobust-new-features.html</r:filename><r:title>New Features in rdrobust 4.0.0</r:title><r:created>2026-05-16 10:41:05</r:created><r:modified>2026-05-16 10:41:05</r:modified></r:article>
