  "Description": "Regression-discontinuity (RD) designs are\nquasi-experimental research designs popular in social,\nbehavioral and natural sciences. The RD design is usually\nemployed to study the (local) causal effect of a treatment,\nintervention or policy. This package provides tools for\ndata-driven graphical and analytical statistical inference in\nRD designs: rdrobust() to construct local-polynomial point\nestimators and robust confidence intervals for average\ntreatment effects at the cutoff in Sharp, Fuzzy and Kink RD\nsettings, rdbwselect() to perform bandwidth selection for the\ndifferent procedures implemented, and rdplot() to conduct\nexploratory data analysis (RD plots).",
